How it started

From laying the table at home to a shop of our own

We started during the covid period. We had always had a love of beautiful tableware, but in that period the pleasure of being at home mattered even more. Beautiful dishes, special glasses and good cooking got us collecting and selling.

Matthieu is French. Through our passion for the French aperitif, and because we wanted to do something different in vintage tableware and glassware, that naturally became our speciality.

    The Nettenfabriek

    We started our first shop and website as Vintage Pareltjes in the Nettenfabriek in Apeldoorn.

  • 2025

    We won the pitch

    With the Nettenfabriek due for demolition, we were looking for a new place. With the La Bizotterie pitch we won a location in the town centre for a year.

    Marktstraat 12

    Our current location, in the old bicycle shed. A mini market hall that we share with three other entrepreneurs.

  • The name

    Why La Bizotterie

    A nod to the surnames of Matthieu and Anita. It suits our French range better, so we are switching over step by step from Vintage Pareltjes to La Bizotterie.

What we believe in

Vintage first

We have a love of things from the past. That comes from the beautiful designs, the craftsmanship and the high quality. Things used to be made to last a lifetime. Combining vintage and modern pieces often gives your interior a warm, one of a kind look.

With our collection we are glad to contribute to the reuse of special, good quality things. We hope that choosing a pre-loved alternative becomes more and more the obvious choice.

No surprises

Honest about the condition

By good vintage condition we mean that an item has signs of use that match its age, nature and use. Think of small scratches, discolouration or spots. If there are noticeable signs of use, we always state that clearly with the item and show it in a photo.

Within the Netherlands from € 6,50 to a parcel point, and free from € 75. Packed as fragile and sent with care.
